  Prednisone   So you've been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and prescribed prednisone. First thing you may want to do is research absolutely everything about that double edged sword that you are expected to take to treat your disease. Your doctor will never tell you everything about it period, so don't expect it. My wife was diagnosed with PMR during the summer of 2023 while I was working out of town.
